The new Samsung Galaxy S10 has officially been available on shelves on all stores around the world. The new flagship comes with a number of new features that older Galaxy flagships could not own. If you cannot afford to grab this new Galaxy flagship yourself, then there is another way to get these great features on your phone, which is a custom ROM. Fortunately, those who are using Galaxy S8/S8 Plus devices can now get almost Galaxy features on your phone. If any of you here own a Galaxy S8/S8 Plus and want to experience great new features, then read on this post to download and flash port Galaxy S10 ROM on your phone.

Since it’s a custom ROM, if you install it on your Galaxy S8/S8 Plus, it will void the warranty. So you should consider whether or not to flash the ROM on your phone.

Because it’s the first build, so there are still a few small bugs in this custom ROM, but they do not affect too much for your daily use. It’s still smooth and stable. Have a great thanks to  Sac23, who have already ported this S10 ROM for S8/S8 Plus devices.

Since it’s a port ROM, so before proceeding, you need to prepare something first so that the process can be successful. It’s a custom ROM, so you will not be able to install it through Odin software like what you do with the stock firmware.

Back up all your important data files:
You can back up the data on your Galaxy S8/S8 Plus using Samsung cloud or your Gmail account. If you have a computer, connect it to the computer, download and install Smart Switch software and make a backup.

Keep your phone battery at least 50%:
You should fully charge your Galaxy phone or charge it at least 50% to avoid an unexpected shutdown during the ROM installation.

TWRP Recovery 3-2-3 Is Already Installed
It’s a custom ROM, so a TWRP 3-2-3 recovery is required to flash the ROM. To install a custom recovery, you first need to download some files for the installation:

On your phone, go to Settings > Developer Options and enable OEM Unlocking as well as USB Debugging options
Install Samsung USB driver on your computer and then reboot it
Power your phone off and boot it into Download Mode. To do so, press & hold Power + Bixby + Volume Down buttons at once for 5 seconds. When you see a warning screen, simply press the Volume Up
Connect your phone to the computer and open Odin. If the ID:COM is blue, it means the connection is successful.
Click on AP button and browser to the TWRP recovery file.
In Options tab of Odin, uncheck Auto-reboot and then click on Start
Wait for the process to be done. Next, press Bixby + Volume Down buttons to exit Download Mode.
When you see Samsung logo, quickly press firmly Volume Up + Bixby buttons at once to boot into TWRP recovery mode.
From there, tap on Wipe > Format Data and type in Yes to confirm. Doing so will help TWRP recovery recognize your phone internal storage.
Once you meet all requirements, it’s time to install the Galaxy S10 ROM on your Galaxy S8/S8 Plus.

Steps To Flash Galaxy S10 Rom On Galaxy S8/S8 Plus
First, download the S10 ROM file from the link below and copy it into the internal storage of your phone.

Power your Galaxy S8/S8 Plus off and boot it into TWRP recovery. Repeat the steps above to do so.
Once you are in the recovery screen, tap on Wipe > Advanced Wipe and tick on four options: Dalvik/ART, Cache, Data, System
Next, tap on Install and browse to the S10 ROM file. Swipe to flash it
Wait for the process to complete.
When the installation is done, simply tap on Reboot to reboot your Galaxy phone. That’s all! You have successfully installed the Galaxy S10 ROM on your S8/S8 Plus. If you have any question, let’s know in the comment below.
